sytAD4/Df(2L)DTD2 transheterozygotes never survive to adulthood. sytAD1/Df(2L)DTD2;P{elav-syt}/+ individuals are more robust than the rescued null alleles: they fly more and climb up the sides of the vial more quickly after being tapped to the bottom.
Heterozygosity for this deletion has no effect on the mutant ovarian phenotype of ovoD2.
